The Pontefract U10s were back in action for their 4th game of the season at Beverley’s ground, where they faced Beverley and Ossett.
The team drew 4-4 against Beverley in a hard-fought match, showing solid defensive teamwork. Against Ossett, they secured a 9-3 victory, demonstrating their attacking skills.
Standout performances included:
Josh for his brilliant try-scoring,
Vinnie for his powerful ball carrying and Benj for his all-round contributions in both attack and defence
Defensive work was a key strength once again, as the team worked hard as a unit to keep their opponents at bay. Going forward, we’ll be focusing on improving how we move the ball into space when attacking.
We’ll continue developing skills like rucking, scrummaging, and mauling in training as we build on the progress made this season. ?
Looking forward to a game at Moor Lane next week against Selby!!
