Today we unveil some of the items that will go under the hammer or that can be won on Boxing Day at Pontefract RUFC. The star raffle prize is a £150 voucher for Farmer Copley's Farm Shop, and there will be a range of other prizes to be won.

The auction presents the perfect opportunity for fans of rugby or horse racing to obtain some unique items. First up will be a frame original drawing of the legendary jockey Lester Piggott. The artist is the very talented Peter Walker who is a member of PRUFC.

Next we have a rugby ball donated by Rob Wigglesworth, and signed by some of the rugby greats, including members of the 2003 World Cup winning squad. The signatures include Martin Johnson, Jason Leonard, Phil Vickery, Neil Back and others. A great addition to any man (or girl) cave!

The final lot is a framed PRUFC 1st XV shirt from the 2017/18 season. This was the year that we gained promotion to Yorkshire 1 and therefore its an important piece of club history. It will grace any home.

All proceeds from the raffle and auction will be donated to the Prince of Wales Hospice. We look forward to seeing you there.
